What should I expect during my session?

Every session starts with one pose of everyone looking at the camera, I do this at the beginning because that's when the little's are cooperating the best. After we get at least one photo of everyone looking into the camera I focus more on family interaction and family led posing. Expect your kids (and sometimes your husband) to get tired and upset, it happens and it's okay. Expect the kids to make silly faces, say things they wouldn't normally say, and act out a little. Oh, and expect your toddler to lick you.

How long do sessions normally take?

Sessions, unless specified otherwise, typically last 1-2 hours. Session times vary from family to family as they are completely dependent on your family's cooperation.

How long does it take to get images back?

Images take up to 2-4 weeks to receive, during the slower season (January-April) you'll most likely receive your images closer to 2 weeks after your session and in the busy season (May-December) it'll take closer to 4 weeks.

What if it rains?

Normally rain calls for a reschedule or a relocation depending on the situation. If we can't reschedule then we make the most of it, we grab umbrellas, rain boots, rain coats, and whatever else we can find and we make it work. Trust me, rain sessions aren't as bad as you think they are, they can actually turn out pretty dang great.

Why can't I print my images at Target or any other big box chain store?

The photo printers at non-professional labs, Target for example, are not designed to print professional images. The coloring is off and the quality is less than professional, this, and other factors, causes your prints to look poor and reflect poorly on the photographer. You'll want your photos to look as good as they do when you receive your gallery, trust me when I say that you want to order prints from a professional lab.
