hello

I never know what to say when I’m introducing myself. What do people want to know? Does anyone even read these? If you’re here then obviously yeah, people do read these I guess. I’m a pretty transparent person, what you see is what you get.

I'm a 24 year old dog mom married to my best friend. I live in a fixer-upper farmhouse in a small town in Minnesota. I’m typically drinking coffee and I’m obsessed with my Nespresso machine, you won’t find anything that makes a better cup. I love the Enneagram and being a Type 4 (with a tiny wing 3) probably explains why I love photography so much and why I specialize in emotionally driven photography. I love finding and capturing beauty in the mundane.

I love to travel — the hustle and bustle of airports, airplanes, 3am wakeup calls, exploring new places, getting lost, road trips, camping, all of it. If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s showing people that no matter what your budget is, travel is possible. Over the past few years my husband and I have been working through our European Bucket List, so far we've covered Paris, Omaha Beach, London, Amsterdam, Galway, Limerick, the Dromoland Castle, Kilkenny, Waterford, Piltown, Dublin, Amalfi, Naples, Positano, Rome, and Copenhagen. Next up: Iceland.

I don't have an inspiring story as to why or how I fell in love with photography, I just did. Since I can remember I've always been the annoying friend with the camera taking all the photos. I never want to be someone who looks back and realizes that I don’t have any photos with the people that I love and I want to ensure my clients will never realize that either. Capturing people's real memories on an emotional and intimate level is my jam and there is nothing better than it.

If you made it through all of that, you’re the real MVP. I’m so happy you’re here and I can’t wait to get to know you!
